The MuddyCreek Tackle Gimbal Bar is a smart, durable upgrade for any of our tube-style rod holders. Made from 1/4" aluminum bar stock with a rounded top for a smooth finish, this add-on is engineered to help keep your rods perfectly aligned and secure.

The bar features three 1/8" precision-drilled holes and two 1/8" split spring pins, allowing it to lock firmly into place inside the rod holder top. Installation is simple: just unscrew the tube from your rod holder, align the gimbal bar and spring pins with the pre-drilled holes, gently tap it into place, and reattach the tube.

Once installed, the gimbal bar securely engages with the cross-hatch pattern found on the base of many trolling rods—preventing unwanted rotation and keeping your rods and reels neatly aligned. Ideal for trolling setups, this upgrade minimizes tangles and equipment collisions in rough water or active fishing conditions.
