At MuddyCreek Tackle, we didn’t start with a business plan—we started with a rod in hand, waves underfoot, and a need for gear that could keep up. Our first rod holders were built in a small garage, without even a mounting base. But as we walked them down the dock to test them, another angler saw the design and bought one on the spot—before the prototype was even finalized. That early spark lit the fire, and MuddyCreek Tackle was born.

Since then, we’ve grown into a trusted source for precision-built trolling equipment used by anglers across the country. From electric planer reels and adjustable rod holders to cradles, masts, mounts, and accessories—every product we make is engineered for performance, built to last, and designed to thrive in both freshwater and saltwater.

All of our gear is proudly made in the USA at our Irwin, Pennsylvania facility, where raw materials are transformed into high-end components by our skilled team of designers, machinists, and fabricators.
