The MuddyCreek Tackle Cradle Rod Holder with Gimbal Mount is designed for anglers who demand secure rod control, fast access, and flexible mounting in any water condition. Each cradle is machined from solid aluminum and comes in two sizes based on internal diameter—Small (1.600", approx. 1-5/8") and Large (2.075", just over 2")—to accommodate a wide range of rod and reel setups. Stainless steel reel catches secure your rod without the need for straps or clips, and are slotted for adjustability or reversed for a 90° catch wall.
The included Gimbal Mount is built from anodized aluminum with stainless steel hardware for corrosion resistance in salt or freshwater. Its 4" x 4" top plate supports a variety of gear, while the slotted 4" base plate allows you to position your setup parallel or perpendicular to the gunnel. A ¼" crosshatch locking pattern inside the gimbal tube ensures a firm, no-slip fit in your gimbal socket—even in rough water. Available in four angles (0°, 15°, 25°, and 30°), with optional 12" extended versions for deeper rod holders like those on Stingray or Tiara boats, this cradle and mount combo delivers unmatched versatility and performance.
