The MuddyCreek Tackle Electric Planer Reel – Rail Mount System is built for serious trolling, combining heavy-duty performance with flexible rail-mount installation. Constructed from anodized aircraft-grade aluminum and stainless steel hardware, this system is engineered to withstand both freshwater and saltwater environments.
Each unit features a robust 8" aluminum line reel and a high-torque electric motor delivering 80 lbs. of pulling power, rotating at 60 RPM for smooth, consistent line control. The motor is supported by a sturdy mounting arm, and both the motor mounting arm and rail clamp feature a 360° bolt pattern on center, allowing you to precisely adjust the motor reel and clamp to the ideal direction on your boat.
The rail mount clamps are available in three sizes to fit a wide range of tubing and railing diameters:
