Note:
If you don’t know the angle nor have a protractor, here’s an easy way to figure it out.
- Cut out a half circle from a sheet of paper, can use a coffee can or something like to trace.
- Fold in half, that’s 90 degrees
- Fold that into thirds, those two folds will give you 30 and 60 degrees.
- Fold that into half will give you 15-degree increments
- Place one of your rods into the holder, hold the flat edge of this basic protractor flat against the gunwale. Where the rod lines up will be the angle of the holder, with 90 degrees being zero and it goes out from there.
